A Fantasy World of Stories

Have you ever wanted to escape reality for a few moments and take a trip to another planet, rescue a princess from a dragon or chat with a robot? Let me walk you through the worlds of wonder that exist for you in the Fantasy and Science Fiction ezines. Let me be your guide – I am not only a fan of science fiction, but I have also been writing in the science fiction tradition for many years.

Pegasus Online

Scott F. Marlowe publishes this established ezine quarterly. It contains charming tales of fantasy and science fiction, with an emphasis on fantasy elements. A Writer’s Corner, reviews of current fantasy books and an online bookstore complete this site.

THE SF SITE

The SF Site is a wonderful compendium of book reviews, interviews with science fiction and fantasy authors and excerpts from favorite fantasy books. Reading lists, sites, resources for both readers and writers and a dazzling and well-organized index make searching for your favorite fantasy getaway read easier. Publisher/Managing Editor Rodger Turner brings you a new issue of SF Site every two months, and each issue has a new look.

Planet Magazine

Editor Andy McCann's Planet Magazine is a fast-paced and funny fantasy romp, with stories by the great - and not-so-great - most of them with a funny twist. Be sure to check out features like The Sci Faiku page, a list of fantasy haiku poetry with a silly bent. Check out the extensive archives ofpast issues and prepare to be entertained.

Antipodean Science Fiction

This ezine is from The Land Down Under and features short short stories of 500 words or less, perfect for those quick coffee breaks. Editor Ion Newcombe publishes primarily stories from Australia/New Zealand, science fiction with an innovative twist.

Galaxy eZine

E.J. Gold has resurrected the all-time classic science fiction magazine of the past into a new format for the cyberage. Included are workshops, bulletins, news items, classifieds, editorials, book reviews and, of course, stories. Lots of fun for everyone here!

Ad Infinitum

Editor and Graphic Arts Manager David Allen maintains this website of original science fiction, fanfiction, reviews and science fiction convention news. Though the fiction quality can vary, the graphic presentation is outstanding.

Science Fantasy Anthology

Marianne Wong edits this unique ezine dedicated to serialized epics in the grand fantasy tradition. Plenty of sword-and-sorcery abounds as heroes and villains battle in imaginary landscapes.

The Wandering Troll

This is a new fantasy quarterly from editor Jason Laseman. This stylish offering contains stories, serialized epics and reviews as well as poetry and editorials. As this ezine is brand-new, we have an opportunity to see how an ezine develops over the course of its first few issues.
